ABAC’s Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow (ACT) club empowers the next generation of agricultural communicators. Our club is one of many chapters across the country affiliated with National ACT. Through industry networking, professional development and hands-on experiences, ACT provides members with the tools and connections needed to succeed in the evolving world of agricultural communication. The club fosters leadership, collaboration and a passion for promoting agriculture through effective storytelling and media.

Yes! ABAC’s Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow (ACT) is open to all students, no matter their major. Whether you’re studying ag communication, business, education, or something else entirely. If you’re interested in agriculture, media or public relations, you’re welcome to join. ACT is a great way to gain experience, build your skills, and connect with others who share your passion for telling agriculture’s story.
What is Critique and Contest?
Critique & Contest is National ACT’s competition where members submit their best work in categories like writing, photography, media, design, and more. These submissions are carefully evaluated and judged by experienced industry professionals and fellow students from across the country. The competition offers valuable feedback, helps students improve their skills, and provides opportunities to earn recognition and awards at both regional and national levels.
